Colin Robinson is a Principal at Zenbooks and co-founder of the firm. He began his accounting career with Ernst & Young, then moved to Zenbooks where he led our practice. He has helped reshape how small and medium sized businesses manage their finances.

At Zenbooks, Colin focuses on owner managed businesses and non profit organizations that want to embrace modern technology and remote collaboration. He has led implementations of cloud accounting systems for more than 100 businesses, from local coffee shops to national engineering firms, designing processes that give leaders real time visibility into cash flow and performance.

Colin also supports Zenbooks’ accounting leadership on complex system rollouts and trains the team on new software and reporting tools, helping keep the firm at the leading edge of cloud accounting. He is our lead CFO who train our virtual controllers and CFOs to deliver exceptional value for small/medium businesses. His work and vision have contributed to Zenbooks being recognized among Canada’s Top Growing Companies.

Colin lives in Ottawa and is an active member of TEC Canada, where he collaborates with other business owners on strategy, growth and leadership.
